Welcome to the site that explores process management and standards for effective food safety and quality. FoodSQM is the result of a group of us who developed and presented the symposium, Global Supply Chain Quality and Food Safety Managementat the IFT annual meeting in 2006. We decided to build a forum that enables the fusion of the topics:
- Prerequisite programs and HACCP
- Process management using methods such as SPC and six sigma
- Modern standards such as ISO 22000 and ISO 9001
- To build a dependable auditable food safety and quality system
The editorial advisory board includes industry experts including all three members of the US delegation to the ISO 22000 working group.
